Fabula
Fabula is the aspect of narratology that brings events into a particluar order to tell a story. Any society is a body that dwells on memories or events that generations of people may not have ever witnessed; a history of their society lives among them through architecture which acts as the fabula for which they (society) as readers retrace their steps to in order to build a sense of connection. An example of a cultural fabula existing in a modern city can be evaluated through the architecture of Mexico. Each one of the pictures below connects to a place in Mexico that is a part of the fabula comprising Mexico's narratology. The historical information found when you click on each picture represents the "text" of the story that each place and stucture tells.
