In 1910, Puebla became the main focus of the Revolutionary Movement. A gun battle ensued at the house of Aquiles Serdán in what became considered the precursor for the Mexican Revolution against Porfirio Diaz. The facade of their home presents bullet holes, even in modern day Puebla.
