I have written for NDSU's student-run newspaper, The Spectrum, since the fall of 2015. News Writing was a new genre and style that I had little experience with up until my contriubtions to The Spectrum.

Topics that I enjoy writing stories about include campus climate and social issues. As an English major, I have found that my interest in the human experience has played a significant role in my writing.
